Amédée De Murcia's third LP on In Paradisum as his main solo project "Somaticae" is a synthesis of his long time obsessions between dissonant/repetitive melodies and long-edited free-form noise electronics. This amalgam has resulted in an album of oppositions- between dramatic abstractions and short melodic nursery rhyme themes which, at times, recalls the thorny sonic nature of Autechre plugged into the improvisational bombast of Italian composer Giacinto Scelsi. “Organisme” tells of a personal voyage of identity- a quest where one comes to terms with their inner monster.
